Service & Maintenance Engineer – Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

The Company

Airkool is a Hull based family firm established in 1982, our head office is situated on Strickland Street after moving from its original premises on Rotterdam Road due to continued expansion.

The company Installs, maintains and services in the following disciplines, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Ventilation, Electrical, Plumbing and Heating.

The Role Requirements

The service engineer will predominantly be working for a major supermarket chain in and around Yorkshire but not limited to this area. The candidate will be required to

• provide maintenance, inspection and repair services to refrigeration, air conditioning and cooling systems
• complete PPM and reactive maintenance to refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• diagnose faults and leak repair
• Providing a high level of quality customer service and refrigeration expertise for the client
• work on a call out rota system
• You may be required to work overtime as and when required by the company (including weekends).
• provide suitable references if requested

The candidate must hold the following:

• Min NVQ/City and Guilds level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration
• F Gas registered
• Minimum of 4 years experience in dealing with commercial refrigeration and Air conditioning equipment
• Driving License

The Rewards

The salary for this role will be based on experience and is negotiable. (40 Hours per week)

(Overtime is paid at time and a half 4pm – 12am Weekdays, time and a half all day Saturday, double time after midnight and all-day Sunday)

A company vehicle and iPad will be provided
