Full Electrical Installation - Dunelm, Manchester Fort
Overview:
Airkool was contracted to deliver a full lighting and power upgrade throughout a retail store, including the integration of a new in-store coffee shop. The project involved a complete redesign and installation of modern lighting and energy control systems to enhance both functionality and energy efficiency.
Our Solution:
- Installed a new lighting system using Global and Canalis lighting track, with Dextra light fittings and emergency lighting as per the agreed design.
- Added display spotlights, LED tape lighting, and power for display boxes and general retail displays.
- Implemented a new EMS/BMS system to control lighting across the sales floor and coffee shop.
- Retained existing main distribution boards while installing a new 3-phase distribution board dedicated to the coffee shop and till areas.
- Provided new power supplies for air conditioning units and inspected retained circuits.
- Conducted full inspection and testing of all circuits and distribution boards.
Outcome:
The project was completed to a high standard, on time and to specification. Both the client and site project manager expressed high satisfaction with the quality and professionalism of the work delivered.
