Overview:
To provide effective, year-round conditioned air to a room that had been remodelled from a male changing area into a new fitness studio, ensuring a comfortable environment during high-intensity workout classes.
Our Solution:
Airkool was engaged at the design stage of the project during the building works to advise on a suitable air conditioning solution for the newly repurposed fitness studio. As the space was being converted from a changing room into an area hosting high-octane fitness classes, careful consideration was given to system capacity, performance and appearance.
To meet these requirements, Airkool designed and installed 1No Fujitsu 10kW wall-mounted air conditioning system, the largest capacity unit available within the wall-mounted product range. This system was selected to ensure the studio maintained a pleasant and consistent environment, even during intense, calorie-burning workouts.
The system provides both cooling and heating, making it suitable for all-year-round use, while its wall-mounted design offered a discreet solution that complemented the refurbished studio layout.
Outcome:
The installation was carefully planned and well coordinated with other trades on site, ensuring the works were completed efficiently and without disruption to the wider building programme. The finished installation delivered a reliable, effective climate control solution that fully met the client’s expectations.
